I am a painter and I work in oils, acrylic and charcoal on paper and canvas.
Recent paintings are larger scale in format, flat “environments”, non-objective... mostly in subject matter, positive in nature. I love working in the studio with the materials and subjects.
I began painting and drawing in junior high school in art class and I have never stopped making art. The inspiration for the work comes from family, friends, events, places, animals and experiences that are enriching, challenging and vibrant.
